Jedidiah Bernstein defends the insureds of various insurance companies against personal injury and property damage claims. He also defends and advises common carriers, building owners, contractors, manufacturers, distributors and other companies.

Prior to joining Shafer Partners, LLP, Mr. Bernstein practiced at national insurance defense firms. Before that, he was a post-graduate fellow in the Labor Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s Office. During law school, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Lisa D. Sirkin of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and engaged in internships with the Kings County Supreme Court and the Social Security Administration. He also provided legal advice to small businesses through the Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy (“BLIP”) Clinic.
